Like, do you talk in a different voice to pretend that your voice is theirs? I do that a lot. Sometimes when I pet my bun I will whisper, “I am rabbitoes.” As if he was saying it. Then in my whisper voice I say, “You are rabbitoes.” So weird, right? Does anyone talk for their rabbit? Like when my friend is like can I do this or feed this to Hercules my rabbit, I sometimes hold my bun and move his paws and whisper “No.”

Yes, I imagine most of us has done that at one point or another. My buns are usually just saying no-so-nice things. LOL

I am sure I have done that too. I definitely talk to them though like they are babies. I call them Babbits (baby rabbits). My son often reminds me that that aren’t babies but to me they are my babies.

Constantly, and I got the boyfriend to start doing it too. We will narrate what we believe Speckles is feeling due to her expressions.

I’m always talking to Olly, asking him what he’s up to today, or asking him if he enjoyed his breakfast (Breakfast could be anytime and is a treat too, breakfast is food) if I’m on the Laptop and a game loads and its loud and makes him jump I’ll say. “Oh yeah do that again and disturb Olly’s sleep and you’ll find you outside in the garden, tut, disturbing my Olly, how dare you.” Or he will wake up yawn and stretch and I’ll say. “Have you had a nice sleep love?” Then he will give me a kiss and go back to sleep.
                    Yes we talk a lot.

I talk to all my animals. Willow does not respond to any baby talk, she likes regular conversation. The birds like baby talk. The dogs are just happy with any attention as long as it’s not NO.

My wife and I do. They’re usually saying rude things. I’m not so good at it as my wife. I’ll have to record her sometimes – she does hilarious conversations between Charlie and George.

Always and my son does it also. When I get a certain look when I say something to them I usually narrate what it appears they are thinking.

Well I’m not talking for him (out loud at last). But I’m talking with him or improvising some song.
And we can discuss wide range of subjects, from how well was the today’s treat and how is His Fluffiness feeling to more philosophical themes. Like what are his thoughts on stoicism (he is more of a existentialist)

All the time…more for Toby than KitKat. I usually assume KitKat is giving me the silent treatment, but Toby talks a lot of smack, lol.

All the time. My husband says I should be locked up. The funny thing? My bunny swears at him all day and doesn’t even know it.

I started to once, but then Spike said “don’t put words in my mouth. And anyway, you don’t sound like me at all.” I was speechless.

My husband speaks for our two bunnies a lot. Then a conversation between my bunnies and my husband takes place.

I don’t really talk out loud for them, but cetainly imagine their replies in my head…. so I have one way conversations, as if i were on the phone.

“Do you want a treatie, sweetie? You do? Here you are! Get out of the way or I can’t put it down. Oops, get out from under my feet! WHO chewed a hole in my slippers….? Bedtime! Night night! Love you”….

Does anyone who has a pet that they love, NOT speak to them or for them? I don’t think it’s possible.
Personally… ssshhhh…. I don’t think you’re normal and quite a bit bonkers if you DON’T talk to animals, whatever they are! LOL

Yes I do the baby talk, I get on my own nerves lol. But when I do she seems to settle down faster and i get way more licks/kisses
