Hi i have a 2 year old rabbit who’s not spayed yet and i was wondering why she chases me. Like she humps me and my family members (to show dominance i heard) but now she chases/runs behind anyone who leaves the room or area and she tries to hump me when she catches up. She’s like a dog when running after you and she’s not mad or anything but i don’t know why maybe she’s trying to be playful. And about the humping, since i can only get her spayed later on in the year for now how do i get her to stop. She only licks her teddy bear and humps everyone else i say no and stop but she just stares at me and tries to continue. Is all this just something i have to wait until she gets spayed?

Rabbits have a very high sex-drive. It’s because they have short lives in nature, they have many enemies, and so they need to get many babies as fast as they can. I don’t think there’s a lot you can do about her sexual behaviors until she gets spayed, she seems very determined. The chasing and the humping is an effort to have babies with someone.
