Speckles turned into a sneaky thief

So yeah… I’ve been craving snacks. Especially some cheeze-its. For me, it is just one of those snacks I will suddenly crave, eat, and then randomly be over.

So we went and got me some of those delightfully delicious cheesy snacks. I was laying on the couch, playing some video games when my dad and stepmother Skyped me. They are currently touring all of the US and Canada and daily they will Skype me, and show me national landmarks, and views. Today was the Grand Canyon. Well when I had gotten up to go to my computer, I left my box of cheeze-its on the couch, not thinking anything of it.

And in the tiny screen, the one you see yourself, I notice Speckles, on the couch sniffing the box. As I turn around to grab her, BAM her head goes in the box, and out with a cheezy snack gripped in her jaws tightly. Little sneaky devil she is. 

So it turned into this grand chase around my apartment, because I’m attempting to keep her from eating this human snack, that in no way possible can be good for her. And I failed. By the time I was able to catch her, she had crammed it into her mouth and swallowed. 

She is absolutely fine, even though I fretted. So a while later I hang up on Skype, and resume my snacking, and I can’t even continue snacking in peace, because here comes Speckles every few minutes trying to sneak in and get a snack from me. She even resorted to climbing on the back of my couch, and jumping on my face to try and wrestle the treat from me. So no more Cheeze-its in my home ever again, unless I wanna see exactly how ninja my bunny can turn into.

Lol! And it’s no use telling the bunny that bunnies don’t eat cheese =) My Bam once stole a pork-rind. I did manage to catch him before he ate it, but still, a pork-rind?? Silly bunny!

Haha! Tossu is an awful thief as well – he steals everything he can get his little teeth on. Most recently, he stole a whole bushel of grapes I was eating and ran off with it, holding the stem in his mouth. He left a trail of grapes all over the floor and I had to crawl under the kitchen table to get the bushel away from him.

I just… Chom never steals anything from me. He is a polite gentleman. Speckles…. Just nope.

I would rather she stole grapes over my snacks that are bad enough for humans. God knows how bad it is for her. She is currently staring at me from her cage, watching me, cause I have the cheeze-it box in my hand now.

I think she is plotting her grand escape and thieving heist.
