I’m sure this is getting ridiculous. I feel like it is. Sorry. Anyways, given that my bun has had some tummy issues lately, I’m wondering if he would benefit from some Bene-bac? He’s eating better, drinking plenty, and he’s pooping, but sometimes not as much as I’d like. I’m wondering if Bene-bac would help him any?

Can you run it by your vet? I know it’s available without a script but if he is having issues, might not want to mess with things.

I’ll run it by him on monday. Honestly, I’m not sure how much of this is just me over reacting to little things. He’s got a GREAT appetite, I see him drinking water, I give him veggies DRENCHED in water, and he is pooping and active. And then I see small things, and I’m not sure if they’re serious or not, and I get really worried.

Yeah it sounds like things are going pretty well-I’m not sure benebac is even very effective, not like wasting money is a bad thing-it’s not very expensive, but you wouldn’t want to upset the GI bacteria with it, if things are going well. The vet will be best to advise on that!

Ok I’m starting to think I should have gotten a less stressful pet, like a fish. I love my bunnybutt to death, but every time he sneezes I lose a year of my life worrying about him lol.

If you can find a way to keep your bunny-worries in check, it will be good for your life as a whole I think. But it’s sth you’ll have to work on, actively. I do mindfulness exercises to help me cope with worrying. You need to learn what’s normal for your bunny, because that’s the only way you’ll be able to see when sth is off.
I use the treat-trick a lot. If a bunny refuses a favorite treat, sth isn’t right. If a bunny snatches the treat from your hand and asks for more, the bunny is most likely ok.

Thanks. And I have a lot of health related anxiety. So it doesn’t surprise me that I’m projecting onto him. The treat trick is a great idea, except I can’t give him 8 raisins a day to make sure he’s still ok. Just like with my own health, it’s difficult to know what things are normal, and what things to worry about. He just ate a huge salad, and has a TON of poos in his box, so today is a good day.
