Unless your bunny has a pen attached or is free roam most of the time this cage is too small. The cage should be a minimum of 8 square feet. He or she should be able to hop at least 3 times across the length of the cage. The easiest solution is to add an xpen to the front of this cage.

Instead of ordering a cage, I would look at exercise pens. Way better for bunnies!

I would recommend building a cage from NIC cubes. Store bought cages are not big enough for rabbits. There are lots of great websites that walk you through this.

You can add an exercise pen to add some room, or the NIC Cages; cages from stores are super expensive and I don’t think they even make ones that are realistically big enough. Certainly it looks roomy but if you equate that to you in your mind -scale it up-that would be like you living in a small room for 22 hours a day-not enough room!
Here’s some habitat ideas-the NIC cages are super easy to make and you can build up-saving floor space

I made a c&c cage and it’s a lot bigger. I like it better than the one I bought. I have to put wood and linoleum on the second level. My little bunny jumps up there anyway. I made a ramp for both cages because I have tow rabbits and the little one doesn’t use it. I hope she doesn’t get hurt.

Why can’t she be in it 24/7? Not saying you’re wrong for not doing that, just curious. Most issues/concerns you have can be quickly remedied.

All of mine are in x-pens or free-roam of a room 24/7. The x-pens have a bottom that I put down under the x-pen so I don’t have to worry about if someone has an accident. They have a 2nd level on one side and that side has a sheet hung over the top so the “loft” is like a cubby hole for them to hang out in and so they can’t jump it.
