So, today was weird. Bandit (my rabbit) is usually very excited for his pellets but this morning was different, he didn’t come to the door of his cage, he instead just sat in his litter box. As they day went on, he started to eat a little parsley and some carrots, a few pellets and a few pieces of hay, but he failed to drink. I gave him some water through a siringe and he drank it. He’s going to the washroom and he (gradually) came out to play, but I have no idea what’s wrong. I thought it was bloat at first, but he seems fine, I also thought he had gastrointestinal stasis, but he’s a lone rabbit and I’m curious if he’s depressed. The only reason he’s alone is because he isn’t fixed yet (we got him from a bad pet store situation). I also introduced red leaf lettuce and I’m not sure if I did it gradually enough. Please help if you can !

He seems lethargic and he may be lonely indeed. If he’s doing good right now then no worries but if this is happening more or he didn’t get better try to take him to the vet. My rabbit has done this but he ended up being fine but that may have been luck for me.

It sounds like he’s doing ok-if they are eating, generally things are good. I always offer a treat or something novel 3-4x times a day, if they refuse I know something is up. If he’s eating veggies, hay and pellets, things sound OK.
Keep an eye, you have a feeling for a reason but sounds like things are ok right now-from what you describe the only thing that was different was he was on the toilet when breakfast arrived-and possibly busy or just not starved.
