My sister has. Lion head rabbit and has noticed her acting weird she sits in her hidey box alot. She is eating drinking and pooping normally. Still comes out to play. My sister doesnt live with me but i was wAtching her at my house for a week while my sister went away. When she took her back home this is when it started. The rabbit has been to my house before. Is this a sign of depression?

She might be feeling lonely and bored. She may need a bunny friend.

She may not be well. She may have gas. Can you massage her tummy a little? Gas is painful for rabbits. You can give a bunny baby gas-drops (simethicone), that + tummy massage usually helps a lot. Perhaps she could also use a little extra attention and affection. I think depression is sth to suspect only when just about everything else has been ruled out. Bunnies hide illness and pain well, and they often withdraw in those instances.

            I hope she’ll get better!
