So yesterday morning my hubby and I decided to move Goose’s cage.  He has always been in a fairly active part of the house.  But we spend most of our days in the living room hanging out  and the bunny was in the eat in kitchen.  We have an open floor plan so you could see him if you turned around on the couch.  Now we have brought him into the living and set him directly across from the couch.  You would think we moved him into a brand new home.  He has been out exploring for hours today and yesterday.  He has been still taking his rest periods and I haven’t seen any bunny flops which he is usually a fan of.

I am wondering have we brought him too close to the action?  Has anyone else experienced this?

In my experience, bunnies love some action in their homes, by family-members. They want to be a part of family life, they are curious and interested animals. For a bunny, hanging out with friends often means just lying about, a few yards away, it looks more like co-existing than an activity but it is an activity for a bunny.

That said, everything new will take a little while to get used to. Many, if not most, bunnies are in some respects slow learners.
