Hi so this is the first morning I woke up to my new bunny and I went out to say hi to her and she ran around her cage like twice then ran into her home away from me. Was she playing?

It’s hard to know really just based on what you say. That type of behavior can be many things – play or fear.

I am use to indoor bunnies. My little monsters were behaving appallingly at about 3 am this morning. It sounded like they had morphed into hephalumps. It’s really a matter of time and if your bun is out doors and not part of the day to day routines it will be different. That said there’s nothing like having an empty pellet dish thrown at you because you were late with breakfast or waking up to find the baby gate did n I t prove an obstacle and 3 little faces are staring at you in the bedroom doorway.

She didn’t eat as much as I thought she would have last night but that could be cause it’s a new home.
