I’ve started letting Gina and Jenny have some floor time yesterday, at different times to each other, as they seem to be recovering nicely, and their cages aren’t really big enough to be in 24/7.

Gina is still lashing out at everybunny, so I guess the hormones are still raging, but Jenny has calmed a lot, and did a couple of really cute little binkies during her floor time.

In the evening, given how much calmer Jenny was, I decided to let the boys have the full run of the dining room and living room when they came in from the garden. While they were quite interested in Jenny (in the living room), she pretended to ignore them apart from one quick nose to nose with Rusty, but when they went through to the dining room for supper, and she realised they were gone, she threw a full blown tantrum, with the puppy training pads shredded, hay flung and also the newly filled water bowl thrown…

When I went down this morning, she came to the run door to greet me, and when I gave her ear rubs, she gave a little half binky

Given how she clearly wants to be more social, now she is feeling better, I think I will set up in her run in the dining room before the boys come in, so she can be near them overnight. Hopefully that way, she will binky more, and throw tantrums less!
