I wanted to just let people know of what I have learned today. So today we went to the pet store to buy some hay and decided to buy a new goat horn that the dogs love to chew. Up to this point we have two old horns and one antler and she has had no trouble around them. Today though when I let her out in the living room she was on alert the whole time, thumping her foot. At first I thought she heard something or saw something so I tried to comfort her. I noticed that her nose was rapidly moving and then it hit me, she must smell something knew, the horn. I picked it up and held it to her and she ran away the fastest I ever have (like a bunny 500 times 2). So for anyone experiencing some strange behaviors from their rabbit, remember that scents can also play a role in rabbits being scared.

Yes, always good to remember that bunnies are prey animals and can be easily frightened.

I think this is why you can buy blood flour for use as a deer and rabbit-deterrent.
It’s good to keep in mind though, that a dog’s bone can be very frightening for your pet bunny.
