I picked up my brand new addition 2 days ago an 8 week mini lop from a breeder.
In all of his photos from her he had lopped ears. Now I have him home they are either straight up or aeroplane haha.
Is this normal and will they lop again?

I think 8 weeks is usually when they start to drop. Maybe it’s a transitional thing.

Lopping is a trait that bunnies need to grow into. Give it another month to know if he will be a full lop or a helicopter.

I agree that it might be the transitional phase! My lop always had really good control of his ears… He could be full lop, helicopter, or hold his ears straight up for a long time. He might also be on full alert being in a new home!
