So I thought I was doing the right thing but looking through the pages on vegetables, I realize that Boonie is eating a lot of high oxalic foods.
First of all how would I know if this has been affecting her health?
And secondly how do I change over to better vegetables, I mean if she’s currently eating like 5-6 high oxalic acid foods a day, I can’t just stop that straight away can I?
Also it’s a real struggle to get her to eat hay and I know that’s important so any suggestions?

One by one, everyday, remove one oxalic veggie and replace it with a small amount of a good one until only one oxalic veggie is left because one a day is fine. This has probably not caused a major problem, but it was not good. If she isn’t eating her hay try to take away her other foods so she has no choice. Maybe try a different hay type.

            Which veggies are you feeding?

She usually eats spinach, kale, oregano, basil, thyme, rocket, cos lettuce (romaine), parsley

Sometimes dandelion and Rosemary or dill is added

I’m not big on treats but sometimes I give her a small piece of banana or carrot

I thought taken one out per day might be too fast?
Would that give her body time to adjust?

With the hay thing, I’ve tried a few different types already and the only other one I can think of to try is Timothy hay which I guess is imported because it’s way too expensive. Currently I buy oaten hay which costs between $10-20 and lasts about a few weeks but for the same amount in Timothy hay it would cost about $100 and that’s just too expensive.
Every morning I replenish the hay and give her only a small handful of pellets. She eats the pellets and maybe 2 pieces of hay, and that’s within say 12 hours. Then I give her her veggies at night.
