        Hey guys!

I’m wanting to let Blossom out of her cage to explore today but I have a little issue. The only space in my room that Blossom can go in is against the side of Belles two story NIC cube cage. Like the wall of her cage is kinda the wall of this bit of space. If I let Blossom out (while belle is in her cage) should I make an effort to cover up all the sides so that Belle can’t see out OR should I just let Blossom explore and allow them to see each other? I am going to bond them once they are both spayed, at the minute neither are spayed and neither have seen each other or shown any signs of knowing that another rabbit is in the room. Any replies are welcome – I’m wanting to get her out to explore sooner rather than later. She seems ready now and since being home has only had access to her fairly small cage.

        Thanks In advance ?!

Someone more experienced will probably have more advice, but I would think letting them see each other is fine unless either bun gets overly agitated (bouncing off walls or trying frantically to get at the other bun).
I would DEFINITELY make sure that they can’t reach each other through the cage/pen bars though! You would be surprised at how small a space they can get their little snouts into- and they can really hurt each other by biting faces/noses. So either put another type of fencing up at least 4 inches from the first pen, or get metal screening, heavy duty but with only 1/4 inch holes, and wire it up all around where the bunnies will have access to each other.
          Good luck!
