I use Heinolds Family Plan 17-17

I mainly stick with it because of Chom. I’ve tried to wean him from it, and get him to eat other kinds of pellets but he is a stubborn boy and refuses to change. His prior owner always fed him that and never changed so he won’t even try new things. I’ve tried mixing in a little bit of a new brand and he picks them out. It’s not just pellet food either. Chom is just insanely stubborn and won’t try new things.

Speckles will eat just about anything I will give her thankfully.

So yeah Heinolds. This is their charty thing for nutrients.

Crude Protein, min          17.00%       Calcium (CA), max       1.10%

Crude Fat, min                   2.50%       Phosphorus, (P), min   0.45%

Crude Fiber, min              15.00%      Salt, min                         0.40%

Crude Fiber, max             19.00%      Salt, max                        0.90%

        Calcium (CA), min             0.60%       Vitamin A, min      3000 IU/LB

Not sure how great it is for them, but I do know a bunch of breeders, and people that show their bunnies who really love this brand, and swear by it.

I used to feed Martins Timothy, but have recently switched to Oxbow.

I feed them Oxbow Adult pellets, and I also mix in a little of the Oxbow Organic pellets.

I’ve recently weaned my Thumper from awful muesli and we’ve tried 3 brands of pellets (Excel, Tescos and Science Selective) and he didn’t like any of them. So far he’s just eating what veggies I can find he’ll be willing to eat and hay. What are some good pellet brands?

As I’m sure everyone has heard by now, I recently switched from Martin brand to Sherwood Forest brand. OK that’s enough plugs for me.
