1 week ago i got a new rabbit -Latte- and he seems to have a VERY small amount of clear wetness? with a hint of green at the top corner? Hes been a very happy bunny,  eating a drinking and pooping fine. He hops around and explores his new home, stretches out and relaxes… im not sure, ive been cleaning his nose. he loves to be clean. His ears are fine, feet are fine and clean. Fluffy healthy fur. Im sure this has to be a allergy.. If so any ideas for helping him? if vet is included we cant really afford it yet. Thanks for reading!  This is my first time on this forum.  Thanks again.

          Welcome : )

Clear is okay, it doesn’t sound infected yet. But try put some money together to have him checked out. Always a good idea with a new pet. If it’s a bacterial infection, it’s much better to treat early on. Bunnies can only breath through their nose.

Are you using wood bedding or litter? Bunnies can get respiratory problems from some types. Or strong air fresheners?

Ditto Jerseygirl-I can’t say it better. Best to see the vet as soon as you can-some vets will let you pay later if you need so you may be able to arrange that-or pay a little at a time.

That’s a pelleted wood so it should be ok.
Do you use it in a litter box or the whole cage as bedding? (They don’t really need bedding )

You could try pelleted paper if you suspect he is sensitive to the wood. Something like a Yesterday’s News.
