My rabbits have been chewing the foam mats I have as flooring. I do see pieces that they are pulling up but I also think they are investing some. Should I take them to the bunny ER? I also don’t know which rabbit is doing the chewing…..:-l should I give them critical care? Could the critical care hurt them if they aren’t injesting it? I’ve put weights against the cage so they can’t chew anymore. They are eating and drinking normally. They have a huge variety of toys but barely touch them. Please help!!!!!!!!!!

Bunnies often ingest the stupidest things and come out of it just fine. Keep an eye on their appetite and their poop. If they stop eating or pooping you should take them to a vet. Most often this won’t be necessary. Try to get them to eat lots of hay + check so they drink water. If they eat hay you don’t have to give them critical care.
