Rosie is a feisty bunny and does not like me touching her paws or bum. I did manage to cut her nails but not without her shunning me for the next 24 hours.

How can I get her to not freak out without scaring her more?

No advice on the nail trims — I’m too chicken and get the vet tech to do them!

Other than nail trims, my lops let us groom and do butt checks while they eat their salads. Kieko can’t be bothered while she’s eating, but as long as she’s on her daddy’s lap being petted and worshipped (!), I can do anything with her!

Shes so spunky and won’t let me do much, always hopping around!
I am going to up my health checks to daily checks till she gets use to them, maybe she will come to get use to them.

Try doing the checks on a towel on a counter top. Make sure you (or two of you) stay right there so she doesn’t jump down. Mine are usually freaked out enough to stay still up there.
