my rabbit has a thin brown layer of flakes that is sticking on the ear. I don’t know if this is ear mites. My rabbit is acting normal. She’s not even scratching her ears or shaking her head. I looked up symptoms for rabbit ear mites and it says that when rabbits usually get ear mites, they get a thin layer of brown flaky layer in the ear. Does she have ear mites?

Hmm, sounds like a possibility. Are you able to take a picture?

I agree, it does sound like it. Word of warning: don’t try remove the gunk yourself. Apparently that is painful for a bunny. Revolution is great for Ear or Fur mite.

To determine if it is mites, you need a vet to look under a scope.
