Are there any safe rubber toys?

  My new bunny Charlotte is OBSESSED with rubber and leather. If you leave something laying around she will find it and destroy it. So far she’s gotten my phone charger (I stupidly left it hanging over my couch), my flip flop, the edge of my dustpan, the rubber grip on a pen, my purse strap (my FAVORITE purse by the way…), my Hubby’s belt, and the soul of my stinky work shoe. We’ve had to start putting ANYTHING with any kind of rubber or leather out of her reach.
  What I’m wondering is if there’s any kind of safe rubber chew toys for rabbits since she seems to like it so much? I heard they have a rubber Kong toy for rabbits but is that okay? She doesn’t actually eat it, just chews it. I think she likes the way it feels.
  She has a TON of other toys that she won’t touch. I’ve seen her take a couple nibbles on her wicker ball but that’s it.
  Never had this problem with my other rabbit, he’s happy with anything cardboard so I thought that was the norm haha
  Any advice is appreciated!

  Unfortunately I don’t think rubber in any form is safe once ingested. I can suggest some plastic ones, made for babies. I have a set of hard, colorful keys on a ring that I got in the drug store in the baby section that my bunnies carry and rattle and chew. Also, some like stacking cups. You might try the Yucca toy from the BB store, since yucca is softer than any wood or plastic. It’s easy to chew and might be more like rubber or leather. Spike really likes his.
