I have two bunnies and one of them has been having sneezing fits for sometime now. I’m not sure if I should take her to the vet or not. She doesn’t show any other signs of snuffles or anything. And wouldn’t the other bunny be sneezing as well if this one is sick? I’m a first time rabbit owner so I’m not sure about these things. I’m not sure if she’s allergic to the bedding I use or maybe the hay. Her eyes are clear. There are no mats on her paws from her cleaning herself. She’s still pooping and eating and drinks plenty of water. She still plays around when I take them out

Have you recently changed hay? Any discharge from nose?

If it’s been going on for sometime, I would probably get it checked out. There are several more serious things that can cause sneezing such as a respiratory infection and/or pasteurella. Pasteurella is a bacteria that many bunnies harbour but sometimes, due to stress or low immune system, symptoms such as respiratory infections can occur. So they would not necessarily both be sick. The only way to confirm what is causing the sneezing is to have the vet do a nasal swab.
