We trim toenails here weekly (since Rocky’s are black we just snip off the very tips every week).

Today was clean Pumpkin’s butt/brush bunnies/trim nails day.

I have to admit, I’m a bad bunny mom. I’ve never really paid attention to the 5th toenails on their front paws (like where a thumb would be).

Today I did and trimmed one of Pumpkin’s that was quite pointy. But her other one was…broken off maybe? There was just a tiny, tiny, tiny, piece of nail left sticking out of her foot.

I’ll keep checking it to see if it grows back, but it could have been this way a long time for all I know! Will it grow back? I don’t think she is in pain (she eats and poops like normal).

If there is still a little stub, then it should grow back. It will take awhile though.
