Rabbits have plenty of stomach acid. What you’ve heard about flies an maggots and bunnies is a whole other thing, it’s when flies lie their eggs around the bunny’s anus. It doesn’t come from eating flyeggs at all. I think you can relax.

I think all will be fine. Flies actually deliver live larvae, those nasty little yellow things aren’t eggs. Ingested they would not last long just as bam says.

A little extra protein probably won’t hurt. Seriously though, IF your bunny did ingest a fly egg or two, it would not survive long in the stomach. Bam is correct that the real concern with flies is them lying their eyes near the bunny’s rear and is much more likely to occur with outdoor rabbits with messy bottoms.
