PLEASE HELP!! I have tried looking everywhere for information about this matter but no luck. I have recently bought a 9 month old male rabbit and within the last week of having him I got him neutered. Before then he was a very happy bunny and let you stroke him all the time. And 2 days after his surgery he runs away from me and won’t let me stoke him. He even growls at me sometimes. I’m afraid I have changed him for the worse. Please help me

It’s possible that his hormones are surging from the neuter. This is normal and may take several weeks to calm down. As long as he’s eating, pooping and active as normal, I would just wait it out.

I agree with LPT. Many times neuters can cause them to be crazy for a while as all their frustrating hormones leave their body. Give him some time to see if he settles down.
