As some of you know, I made a post a few weeks ago about going out of town, which we did, from last thursday, until yesterday. Mr. Binkins made it through perfectly. I was SO worried about him getting stressed out from the separation, noise from fireworks, etc. Hayley, the bunsitter, said he did amazing. He got lots of attention, treats, and even visits from her sister, nephew, and mom, which he loved. Her nephew, who is only 2 or 3, even got to feed him a spinach leaf and give him a kiss. Hayley updated me multiple times a day, and said it was a very easy four days. So much relief. I was so anxious about the time apart, but he apparently had a blast

I’m glad everything went well! It makes going away a bit less stressful to know that your furbaby will be ok and happy while you’re gone.

I was so nervous. And we were a two hour drive away, so if anything had happened, we probably wouldn’t have made it home in time to do any good. And I didn’t want Hayley to spend the night at our house, because she has really bad anxiety, so she stayed with my bf’s parents across the street. So if anything had happened at night, she probably wouldn’t have known until the next day. Which also scared the crap out of me, just thinking about it. But other than restarting his habit of chewing his litterbox to bits, he seems to not even have noticed we were gone lol.

I am glad to here things went well. I use to really hate being away from my rabbits. I am better about it now. My son does a pretty good job taking care of them while I am away. I still miss them. Usagi was really happy to see me when I got back from my over night visit this past weekend. Kilala could care less that I was back except she wanted some treats and more pellets. To her mommy is the treat giver she loves Usagi more than me, but I am cool with it.

Great to hear it went so well! It’s always nerve-wrecking to leave a bunny.

Usagi and Kilala? I’m guessing you watch a bit of anime? I was planning on naming MY next bun Usagi.

So glad everything went well, and that hopefully you had a nice trip. It is always scary to leave a bunny at home, but having a good bunny sitter like it sounds like you do is always comforting.
