I guess this could go in the toy section, but im more curious about his behavior with the toy.
Anyways I made Mt bun a sock bunny from new socks, but since I hand sewed it it must smell like me. He tosses it around and today threw it in his litter box (I was a bit sad about that) but then he laid down in his litter box too (he never does this especially when I havnt cleaned the box yet)
He also will throw it down, dig at it until it goes under him, then just hop away.
So does he like the toy? Or is it just in his way? He doesn’t rip it or anything, just a nibble or two like he’s tasting it.

It seems he likes his toy. When a bunny throws a thing into the litterbox, it doesn’t mean the thing is being discarded or shunned. Very often it means poor aim. Rabbits often likes to lie in their litterboxes, if he lied down with the toy it’s even more likely that he’s appreciating it.

Rabbits tend to throw stuff about. It’s their way of playing I think. They like to throw stuff and then throw it some more and they look very determined doing it. Of course if it’s an offensive object the bunny may be angry at it and try to get rid of it, like my Yohio does with the broom, his sworn enemy. He growls and attacks it when I’m not in the room, then when I hear it fall to the floor I know Yohio has gained another victory over the evil thing.

It definitely sounds like he likes it! When my rabbit isn’t interested in a toy, he ignores it, so if he’s playing with it, it sounds like a great sign. Your sock bunny sounds adorable, by the way.

Yea it sounds like he likes it. They do throw things around. If he didn’t like it he would ignore it. It does sound like an interesting toy. You should post a picture of it.
