So my previous bun (RIP Peter 2010) was very affectionate, loved to be picked up or sit in my lap, & cuddle. He approached guests for pets.

Now I’m considering adopting a bonded pair but am unclear if they would be more attentive to each other and less likely to bond with me in the same affectionate way?

I hope this is not a repeat question. I’m new here & couldn’t find this info.

I think it’s really mostly about individual personality. Enjoying sitting in laps and being cuddled is unusual in any bunny single or bonded.

If a particular personality is what is most important to you, look at many bunnies and stay open about the bonded pair vs single bunny. When the right bunny and you meet you’ll know it.

Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, the bond between Peter & I was really unique. While I don’t expect my next bun(s) to be replicas of his personality, I would like to be able to establish some degree of mutual affection as opposed to being completely disinterested in me.
