Does anyone have some suggestions on items to keep in a first aid kit?  I know basics like bandages, wraps, heating pad, cooling pads, etc. but I am looking for “chemicals” to keep on hand (example:  peroxide, alcohol, vinegar,). I have gone to tractor supply and looked at items to see if I can expand my kit. I have purchased a few items from Vetericyn such as Vetericyn Plus all animal eye wash. Any other suggestions?

Chlorhexidine is safe for cleaning wounds and regular Neosporin (not the kind with pain reliever) can be used too.

Benebac and simethicone are good to keep on hand in case of minor GI issues.

Oh and styptic powder is good to keep on hand in case a nail breaks and it’s a bleeder. Cornstarch can be used too.
