Forum DIET & CARE Bun wont eat new food

        So my bunny is now 3 months old and i started giving her half a “wing” of lettuce a day and finally changed from cuni to oxbow pellets but the problem is she wont eat it at all! only sometimes if i feed her by hand.. i tried mixing some cuni with the pellets but she still would only eat cuni!! what can i do

          Be more stubborn than she is =)

          She will eat her Oxbow when she gets hungry. You can give her alfalfa hay as a supplement since she’s still growing, that way she won’t get too little protein until she accepts her new pellets. Keep mixing the pellets and reduce the amount of cuni gradually. She must have unlimited access to hay.

          I think cuni is a good brand though, I’ve had cuni complete for my (adult) buns.

            Alfa Alfa is what I have been using till now and she has acces to it 24/7 ok I’ll keep doing the mixing thing and I switched from cuni to pellets because I was told that cuni makes bunnies selective and they miss most of the proteins.and that I saw as she was skipping a specific part of cuni
