My bunny is a pretty new member of the family (I got him at the beginning of this month) and recently he has been licking me non-stop. Whenever I’m sitting down or lying on my bedroom, he walks around me and licks any part of me he can reach, whether it’s my skin or my clothes. Occasionally he nips at my skin too. I don’t mind it all, I was just wondering why. He’s just turning four months now, I was wondering if it was because he’s reaching sexual maturity or something like that? Thank youu☺️

Sounds like he’s grooming you.  He thinks you are top bunny…

Yup, some bunnies are kisses. Whether they are “grooming” you or just like the taste of you, not sure but some bunnies seem to be genuinely affectionate with their people. I miss bunny kisses. My current two don’t give any.

You are so lucky! My rabbit will lick my pillows and sometimes my clothing. I think she licked my hand this morning? I’m not too sure, I was still half asleep at 6am.

Whenever I give him any small fruit pieces for a treat, I always hand feed him. Like for example, today I give him some watermelon and because of the juice on my hand, he spent about twenty minutes licking me after eating it. You could try something like that if you would like your bun to lick you?
