About a year ago I decided to take on another bunny, Enzo I adopted him when he was very young and Enzo and Emily fell in love at first sight. Emily is the diffenition of the perfect rabbit, she’s very well potty trained, social and very loving, but Enzo on the other hand doesn’t really care about anything but Emily and its been getting worse hes about 8 months and it seems hes getting shyer toward new people and I can’t even get him to go in the litter box, so I am left cleaning their cage every 6 hours. Their rabbit hutch is 2 stories and custom made and varnished, they also are fed oxbow pellets and hay and plenty of veggies along with about 3 hrs of exercise daily outside their cage.Is there any litter box tips or anything ?

Is Enzo a male bunny?  If so is he fixed?  Our bunny is about 8 months old and is a lot less shy and a lot better about the litter box now that he’s fixed.

You may also be experiencing poop wars (Enzo trying to make his territory smell like him by marking)  I don’t have any experience with this as we  only currently have one rabbit and when we have had two we got them from the same litter and never separated them.

Since he is going out of his litterbox, I would throw the stray poops into the litter box. Do you have hay in the litter boxes? Generally bunnies like to eat and poop at the same time
