I am new to this forum, and it seems as though there are quite a few knowledgeable people here. I have two female bunnies, Lolli is about 9-10 weeks old and is a polish, and Taffy is a 3-3.5 month old holland lop. They are extremely friendly and when I go into their large pen to clean it along with their cage, I’m almost always greeted by one or the other. My question is…. After reading so many things about their behavior, is it likely that they will change, and become mean? I’m terrified of this happening and I fully intend on having them spayed as soon as they are able. I heard between 4 and 6 months. I’m just curious. thank you all in advance for any advise.

It’s impossible to really know. They don’t really become “mean” so much as they become territorial.

Our first bunny Boston was brought home at 8 months and spayed as soon as she could be. Her demeanor never changed. She always chewed and dug at everything but never really got territorial and always gave kisses. I think there’s just no way to know!!!
