I have a male rabbit that just turned 6 years old. He has never been sick in the past, and I have never had to take him to the vet. Just today I noticed that he is acting kinda weird; he is eating and drinking as usual, but not moving much. He keeps pulling his ears back for a second and making a small noise, and then continuing. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that he isn’t pooping or if it’s something else, but I’ve never seen it before. Does anyone know what it could be? I’ve cleaned his toilet so that I can check if he is pooping or not, and i add fresh hay and a small amount of pellets every day. I also change his water every day.

That’s a difficult thing to know why he is doing this. It could be so many things….it might be time for you to take him to the vet to check.

Update: he did poop a little, but he still is doing the ear-thingy.

What kind of noise? I’m wondering if he’s in pain…you should probably take him to a vet.

You should really be taking your rabbit for an annual checkup. Based on your rabbit’s behavior you should really take them into the vet and have them checked out. Please let us know what the vet says.
