Hello so I jave a 1 year old flemish giant male that is neutered and was bonding with male mini lop who passed away 6 months ago I just bought today a female mini lop who is 6 weeks old. My flemish is not aggressive and never was aggressive with my male lop so I thought that bonding these two would be easy. We’ll I had them meet eat other and my flemish started pulling her hair out and the bit her ear and made it bleed. I did not do it in a nuteral place. But at this point I’m just scared to try because of my flemish giants size he is 28 pounds I want them to bond but I’m scared he will seriously  hurt her. Any ideas?

Honestly you’re probably not going to be able to bond these two until your mini lop is spayed.

She is young and hormonal and it’s probably ticking your flemmie off; he’s going to get fed up with her quick.

Once your girl is old enough to be spayed, get that done and then wait about 6 weeks for her to heal.

In the meantime you can try housing them near each other, but I wouldn’t bother bonding until after your girl is spayed and all of her hormones have died down. You just don’t know what you’ll get from day to day and that can be dangerous.
