once upon a time our little Hera would binky on over to be hand fed her carrot portions. as of the last week, she’s picked up the habit of literally ripping the carrot portion out of our hand. this is in sharp contrast to how she previously was. outgrowing it perhaps? if it is, it’s no problem but if there’s an underlying cause I’d like to fix it. thoughts ladies and gentlemen, binkys and binkettes?

In my experience, you were lucky to ever have her take it gently! With my three, anything bigger than a nibble gets jerked out of my hand. I don’t feel bad though because my lops jerk food food right out of each other’s mouths! No manners whatsoever!

How long have you had Hera? Probably just moving on from it.
When we first brought Shamrock home he loved (or seemed to love) being held and snuggled. Well, at least he tolerated it for 10 minutes at a time. After a couple months he started fighting it and showed his hatred. I think he just got comfortable enough with us to let us know he had had enough!. So probably nothing to worry about. Might have to find a new way to bond with your Hera!
