Hello. olive started sneezing about 2 weeks ago and I have seen mucus come out.
She also has weepy eyes, previously treated for conjunctivitis.
I of course freaked at the idea of snuffles and took her straight to the vet.
They did a test to see if it was snuffles it isn’t thank god and the conjunctivitis is gone.

So it has been put down to the fact that when I adopted her they said oh she gets watery eyes and it’s been going on for 6 months, long term conjunctivitis that wasn’t treated has scared her ducts.

The thing is she’s still sneezing I don’t think the 2 can be related ? She’s ok most of the time but has moments of being a bit sad.

Can you use menthol on buns? Maybe she’s just feeling a little stuffed up ?

I would not use menthol on rabbits – they can be sensitive to smells.

Watery eyes can be caused by dental problems as well by something with the sinuses like sinusitis. To rule out those problems, you would need to have a vet do X-rays.

I agree-I would not try the menthol, but see if your vet or another could check for dental issues. Rupert needs his teeth done frequently and we only found out because of runny eyes and nose
