I was wondering if any of you have experienced one of your bunnies obsessively licking stuff? The other day, Pepper found a couch cushion, and licked it for half an hour! Today, he was licking my dads hand and my pants. Is it a hormone thing? He will be getting neutered in a couple of weeks. Is it maybe just a weird bunny thing or something normal?

I had a bunny that licked obsessively. As soon as I petted her she’d start licking. I miss her so much!

Bam licks my skin, he may lick furniture too. He’s neutered so I doubt it’s hormonal. I think it’s kind of like a conditioned reflex. If I pet him, he licks. It’s very sweet.

Some buns just seem to be lickers. My Bridge baby used to lick pillowcases until there was a big wet spot. He would like our pants. And he gave the most wonderful, face-soaking bunny kisses. My current two don’t give kisses to us humans () but they will lick stuffed animals and Olivia will leak my yoga pants. Only yoga pants. Bunnies can be weird.

i don’t think its too odd. Half hour might seem a bit long but it’s not that long especially if the area licked changes. My bun does this sporadically. So far sounds like normal behavior

Boston used to lick us non-stop as well. Some just like to show their love for whatever there is to show love to!
