When I adopted my rabbit she came with about 2lbs left in a 4lb bag of the “small world complete rabbit food.” I think it is a Walmart brand a probably not the best quality, but I’m not sure if I should use up the rest of the bag or start switching to a new food right away? Alice is 4-5 months old and this food is alfalfa based. I was thinking of switching over to the oxbow adult rabbit food once this bag started running low, which will likely take a month or two. Are the ingredients okay, or should I be switching her to something healthier now?

It doesn’t have colored pieces, seeds or other junk so I’m sure it will be okay in the short term. I would make sure you have enough to slowly mix with the new food before making the switch though.
