I have chew blocks as well as some cardboard do-it-yourself toys that I found on Budget Bunny. I also have attempted to make him a cardboard house to explore in and rip apart. He’s touched these things briefly, but seems uninterested in them. He mainly explores and sniffs and gets under things. He’s extremely curious and very confident for a rabbit. He does run around and binkies a lot, but I still want to offer him more toys and stimulation.

I would appreciate any links to do-it-yourself toys you think he might enjoy or any you can purchase!

Have you tried the toilet paper roll stuffed with hay. Also the paperbag stuffed with hay and treats.

Honestly if he’s running around and binkying that may be stimulation enough for him too….

My bunnies only enjoy toys that give a food reward like a treat bag or willow toys.

My bunnies are not very interested in toys. They do like to run in their tunnels though. You can buy a cat-tunnel or a cardboard concrete-mold of suitable dimensions.

Smokey doesn’t like toys I buy her, either, she is very boring. She’ll occasionally chew or toss around a paper towel roll, but she is pretty laid back. She’d rather hop/walk around the room than play with anything.

She DOES love my knitting needles though and tries to steal them often. I have to hide them when she’s out since she’s a little thief

The only toy that I see Laurana play with all the time is her plastic slinky, then again it makes noise when she plays with it.

My rabbit sounds a lot like yours. Though he has nibbled his willow ball a little and enjoys his Maze Haven, for the most part, he’s uninterested in toys unless food is involved and prefers running around and exploring. He does like his treat ball, which I fill with pellets. You can get one at Bunny Approved or Leith Petwerks. He’s also enjoyed some of the simpler Trixie logic games at Bunny Approved, which is another fun way for him to get his food (once he’s used to the simpler ones, I plan to get some harder ones). I also second the tunnel suggestion…my rabbit loves running around in his.

My advice? Throw the whole gambit at her. Lilith shows little interest in much, but sometimes chooses between various toys. So in her big xpen she has leftover cardboard from her cardboard houses (just a row of cardboard boxes set up much like a street ), leftover wood form construction of her original case (safe wood), toilet paper rolls, willow balls, baby stacking cups, and some cat toys. Honestly, i just throw everything in there and she either plays with it or leaves it. I never really pay for anything.
