        Hi all!

I’ve read multiple places that you should never bathe your rabbit. However, today I noticed that the bottom of Ludwig’s feet (especially his back feet) are looking pretty dirty. Is it safe to put just a tiny bit of water in a bath tub to try and clean the bottoms of his feet off or is that still not okay? Or will he clean himself off?

If it’s okay to wash his feet, what are some tips on how I would go about doing it? Temperature of water, type of soap/shampoo to use, etc.

        Thank you guys!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I don’t think it is urine stain. I think it’s either dirty from when he knocked over his bowl of pellets during the night, then conveniently knocked his water ontop of them making a bit of a mess on the flooring his cage, or it’s from being out  and about on our floors which are hardwood and tend to collect dirt a little more than carpet.

It’s okay but most likely if it’s due to urine you won’t be able to clean that off.

It doesn’t appear to be, as it’s brown. I think it is from when he knocked over his pellet bowl then spilled his water on it, then was standing in the crumbs, or just from hopping around the house. A lot of our flooring is hard wood so it tends to collect more dirt than carpet I believe.

I would try just warm water. If it doesn’t come off, it’s probably stains.
