Some of you know I’ve had problems with Olly, but since yesterday he has used his litter tray, today he came out for a play, he has been very loving, he climbed up on to my arm as I was sat on the floor, I wasn’t sure if he was saying “Come on then lift me up.” then jumped back down, so I left him to do what he wanted, he let me stroke him a few times then came back to me and went back in his cage, I’m really pleased with his progress, he seems to be calming down a lot now, no more biting and when I cannot bend (Because of Arthritis) to stroke him he finds a way to climb up onto my coffee table or just leaps up for Eskimo kiss or if I’m in my wheelchair or in my computer chair he will reach up to my hand to be stroked, PROGRESS!

He will still get in his cage and when I clean him out, but he has been picking up his cardboard rolls and drag them out for me whilst I do his cage and then go and play, I iz one happy bunny mummy.

I’m glad to hear it!! Sounds like you’re doing great! But I doubt that he wanted you to lift him up, as you know, rabbits don’t generally like being lifted up. It was good that you let him do what he wanted. It helps build trust. He may hop into your lap for cuddles some day, that’s like the ultimate sign of trust. But some bunnies never do that and that’s ok too. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s obviously working =)

All Bunnies are perfect LittlePuffyTail, this morning he woke me up for his feed, I was sat on the floor and thought ok open this door and it will be 2 hours getting him back in his cage and the man is coming soon to put my new door on, but I opened his door gave him some brocolli which he didn’t snatch then jumped on to my lap for a 2 minute cuddle and went to his food bowl and bashed it against his bars because it was empty, he followed me over to his food bags and watched me then he ran back into his cage waiting and before he went to his food he rubbed his head on my hand then got on with his meal.
