Litter training, I bought Olly a litter box, hooked it on his cage and put sawdust in, next thing, BANG CRASH and grumpy bunny sounds, I pulled back the cover on his cage to find he had pulled it off, thrown it to the other side of his cage and went and picked it up and balanced it on top of his bowls are you supposed to put sawdust in and a few droppings? Funny thing is though he has gone back to his toilet corner.

You need to put there litter-box where he likes to pee. They won’t automatically pee in a litterbox just because it’s a litter-box. And put some droppings and possibly some pee (if you can get him to pee on a piece of newspaper etc, put the newspaper in his favorite peeing-spot and wait) in the litterbox + litter (shavings, wood stove pellets, carefresh etc.).

Personally I think Carefresh REEKS when wet I strongly prefer additive free paper cat litter for any species. But I would not use sawdust with a rabbit the particles are pretty fine and dusty.

Try getting a lock on pan, one he can’t move.

Sounds like he currently is not a fan of you putting it in his pee spot since he doesn’t realize its his new pee spot. I have always heard of putting their hay in the box as well to encourage pottying there, Maybe that would make him a bit less grumpy about it?

My boys first day with his litter box he threw his bowls, and hay out of it then proceeded to push it around the cage LOL … Its only been two weeks now and he is 90% poop litter trained and 100% on pee … There is hope as frustrating as it is.

Lol this morning I woke up to find his tray on top of his bowls with tinkle and poop in which I found strange, so I thought right here we go, I fastened it to his cage again and let him run around my room and then went to look for him, he was under my bed, so after moving a couple of bags I forgot about under my bed, he came out went in his cage and tinkled in the tray
