I fell asleep earlier, Olly woke me up his bowl was empty, I fed him and went to make a late dinner, lol 12:55 am, the smoke alarm went off, (Been having trouble with my oven) my friend sorted out the smoke and I went to make sure Olly was OK, he had made himself look small his ears down and shaking a bit, I told him it was OK and I would get him some carrot and a strawberry he ate them, but then the alarm went off again, I started to calm him down and he started eating again, I opened his cage and he didn’t come out, I talked to him calmly and he seemed OK but went to the back of the cage and banged his back paw on the base of his cage, is this a delayed reaction to the alarm? He seems OK now.

Fire alarms are loud and scary-they should be-they mean “get out now”.

My animals are all disturbed when the alarm goes off (not that it does often; I’m an excellent cook I swear) I wouldn’t be ‘alarmed’ about any odd behaviour the day the alarm went off
