So Oliver is super sweet. Always wants pets and always seeks me out. Plus he is very chill about everything. EXCEPT water dishes. First I had one of the stainless steel dishes that sit in the clip. Every time it was filled he would bite it until he could fling it across the cage. Next I tried one that fully attached to the cage. I have no idea how but he managed to get that off every time and fling it across the cage. This time I got a flat very heavy ceramic bowl. My dogs can’t even tip these over but Oliver tipped it over within an hour. So instead of just enjoying him I am constantly in a battle to keep him dry. Lol.

Then there is his litter box. He has 2 a normal one that he thinks is a bed and a high sided one that he uses 10% of the time. So I am not only cleaning up water I am cleaning up water logged poops as well.

He may be cute and cuddly but he is a pain in the booty! Give me a break here dude!

Bonnie, my 15# flemish, was horrible with her water dish as well. I got one of those water bottle ones that flips upside down? yea.. that worked well, until she ran into it and knocked the entire 2 litre bottle of water all over the floor. This SOLVED my problem. She can’t pick it up or knock it over. They have different sizes (I got the 2.5 gal one) and the bottle part locks into the base, so it won’t pop out of place.  It’s really nice.

That’s the same one I got, except I got the medium sized one (I actually got two). I love that all the parts go in the dishwasher (the “jug” part can even go in the bottom of the dishwasher!). It is pretty hard to knock over– Marlee jumped in the bowl part at full speed trying to evade being put in the carrier and didn’t knock it over. I still haven’t gotten the M&Ms convinced to give up the bottle completely, but we’re working on it.

That is too weird about the water dishes!!! What a crazy little bun! Why are all the cute ones crazy?

I have a few of those water systems I might stick one in his cage and see what happens. I tried a water bottle but he didn’t have any idea what to do with it. Lol.

He’s so laid back in every other aspect. Must just be something about water bowls. The worst part is he drags his big ole ears through it once he dumps it then flops over in it.

Oh no, don’t tell me my little Fievel is giving you trouble Sonn! =p

Silly bunny is trying to teach those water bowls a lesson. Perhaps you should see what it is they did to deserve that. Hehehehe!

Oh my rabbit Prudence is plain awful. But I kind of love her. I let her go anywhere in the house. She poops on me and bites. But I am forgiving because she was abused and no one likes her anymore :/ So i feed her and let her sleep by me. The only time she comes near me is when Im asleep because she likes the idea that I might be dead. I told you she was awful.

I love both bunnies!!! Oliver looks like he could hide behind his ears if he did something naughty! For that matter, Gypsy could hide behind his ears with him! Oh, that would be the best pic ever!

I think all of my pets combined could hide behind his ears. Lol.

Oliver actually doesn’t mind being picked up thankfully. It would make things very difficult if he did. He’s a lap bunny. Now if only Gypsy felt the same.

Gypsy is on a diet. She has became a chunk bunny. I am wondering if the person who walks my dogs when I am at work is sneaking her treats. She is not happy about her no treats diet.

Oh no, not no treats! Poor chubby girl!

Can’t she just have some herbs for treat?

She already gets herbs and veggies daily. I don’t feed her pellets they upset her tummy.

We’ve been doing oat hay tops as treats and the bunnies are starting to get a little more round so we’re going to have to cut back a little too. Luckily the M&Ms think hand-fed hay is “special”. Kieko is onto the hand-fed hay thing but luckily she still thinks hay in a nice bowl is “special”!

Ooo maybe grumpy pants won’t be so grumpy if I fancy up her hay. Going to try that!

I got tired of ending up with those short pieces of hay that were too small for hay feeders so that’s the “special” hay that I put in the bowl. Kieko won’t touch the regular hay feeder hay if I put that in the bowl though. Strange bunny! So, bottom of the box hay it is!

How much does Oliver weigh? Hard to tell by the pics. I need to know so when I’m envisioning myself snuggling him.

He has almost doubled his weight. He is just under 6 1/2 lbs. The vet wants him to weigh a bit more since he is a tiny bit bony. I have one bunny who wants to eat everything in sight and one that is extremely picky about his food. He’s going to be a big bun. Lol. When they stretch out he is already 2x as long as Gypsy.

How much do English Lops weigh full grown? I don’t know anything about the breed. Never even saw one up close.

I have only met a very small group of English Lops in person. Not many come through the shelters here since they aren’t a very popular breed in my area. They have weighed between 12-16 lbs.

That’s a pretty good amount of snuggle! Bindi, the biggest I’ve ever had is only 5lbs. Never got to snuggle any of the big breeds. I would hug them and squeeze them and call them all George, most likely
