        Hi all,

My lovely house rabbit has been slightly deaf ever since we’ve had her. Two days ago we noticed a patch of fur missing and scratch marks around her ear (see photo). We took her to the vet and it looks like her ear canals are almost completely closed. The vet took a sample and is going to do some microscopy (won’t get the results until Monday/Tuesday). I’m not really sure how serious these things are? Also the vet recommended putting some aloe Vera on her wound – is this safe for bunnies?

She has been given metacam for pain and antibiotics (baytril) incase it’s bacterial.

        Any advice appreciated!
