So I was thinking about getting another rabbit as a friend for my current rabbit. She is around 3 months old and when I’m at school I don’t want her to get bored or lonely. Should I wait until she’s older or can I get one now? She is a house rabbit and she stays in my bedroom.

It would be best to wait until she is spayed, so she’d have to be at least 5 months. And then she’d need a few weeks to a month for her hormones to die down. Trying to bond her if she’s unspayed would be difficult and dangerous (unspayed does are very territorial) or could result in babies if the new bun is a male.

Thanks! I don’t exactly have a rabbit vet yet though. Also how much would it cost to get her spayed?
