Oh the joys of having rabbits..!
My bun does the exact same thing but i have learned that you can discipline them when jumping on the couch is to say stop in a firm voice, not loud though because it could scare them and we dont want to do that, only make them not get on the couch. After i have said stop, i normally put her back in her cage for a few minutes just for her to remember what will happen when she jumps up there. And as for the pooping on the couch, is your bun litter trained? If not, it is very easy to. There are tons of videos on youtubes showing you how to litter train your bun. Best of luck! -Amber and Milani

Pumpkin used to jump up on the couch to pee. We would shoo her down and then sit on the floor and give her pellets. I think she started to realize if she wanted food, she would need to be on the floor.

Now that’s she’s got the pooping out of her system, we don’t mind having the buns on the couch!

quick question is your bun spayed or nuetered? Typically having them spayed/neutered will fix the random poops. Poops will still be scattered a few outside of the litter box, but the majority of stray poops should be gone if the procedure is done.

As far as jumping on the couch, I think its common. I don’t think they see it as a “couch” but rather something for them to jump on and explore. My rabbits seem to enjoy climbing and jumping on things so I’d say its not uncommon. You can try to stop them from jumping on, although I think that is going to be challenging. If you don’t want them on the couch, the best way is to not allow them on it and use things to prevent access to the couch
