Mr. Binkins has suddenly stopped being active at night. I put Dove soap on the rim of his litterbox, so he doesnt chew it anymore. He was chewing great big holes in it, and I had to replace it once a week. Now, he doesnt chew it at all. But he hasn’t replaced that habit with anything new. He used to sit in his litterbox and chew on it all night long, or destroy his cardboard box. Now, he just sits in his litterbox. I usually check on him when I get up to go to the bathroom, and hes just sitting in it.Not loaf sleeping, but actually sitting up, awake. His eating habits haven’t changed as far as I can tell. The other day he seemed to be in a mood, and didnt really eat unless I handfed it, but I suspect that was because I had a minor outpatient surgery the next morning that I was nervous for. When I came home happy, he immediately perked up. He also has taken to laying around more, and he’s gotten a lot more snuggly with people lately. He’s 8 months old, and not fixed. Is this just him becoming more adultlike? I feel like I have nothing but questions about him lately.

It’s not unusual for him to be moody and less social between 8 months and 1 yr of age.

He’s a teenager that looks to be alone in his room.
