Well I just got hazel new pellets(not any particular ones just a local variety) as the ones he was having are no longer available and he seems to be enjoying dem n has become more active then before but what I have noticed is that after consuming the new pellets the number of his poop droppings has gone to 200-300 approx which was b4 only 100 & he now eats his poop a lot more then he used to before.
Even his pee now sometimes has slight tinge of brown or orange along with the regular yellow. Though its not blood for sure but still I am worried …..
Are these pellets fine for him ?
& what abt that change in his littering habbits

        Regards

It’s difficult to know just based on your post. I honestly couldn’t tell you how many poops per day my rabbit does but as long as he’s pooping and peeing and otherwise acting fine, I just don’t worry too much about it.

Dark pee is normal sometimes. Try feeding wet vegetables for more hydration.

I don’t count poops either – look at size and shape. If they looking normal, and your bun is acting normal, all should be fine.
