Some more questions for ya’lls to answer if you can!!!! Before my bro-in-law built his hutch, Harry was in my room. I discovered his brightest time of day was in the morning or evening. He would cruise around and nibble on everything!!! (and use the bathroom in all the wrong places!) Now he is happy in his hutch but I’m scared he’s bored! He has enough space but in the day i often find him just sitting or knawing on stuff he shouldn’t, like an old empty plastic water bowl. Is there any toy or treats you feed or give your rabbit that they love that i could get? Or any game i could teach him? i feed him grass lots and when its nice i take him out and let him hop in the yard while i watch him. Is there something more i should, could or can do to brighten his life? i feel so sorry for him sometimes!! i’d really appreciate any tips or advise ! thanks so much!

Make sure he has fresh hay at all times. Most bunnies like to chew/play with willow toys, cardboard, cardboard tubes from toilet paper or paper towels (none with glue on them), dried apple branches. They like tunnels (cardboard boxes with two doorways make great tunnels). Check out the BinkyBunny store too for great toys, and the Bunny Info section too.

Yep, bunnies chill during the day and get active in the morning and evening. Ours like a wide range of toys. Like card board tubes, old phone books, sticks. Baby keys are great toys. Ours like things that make noise. Blankets or towels are good for digging, burrowing, and snuggling. Just make sure he isn’t actually eating it! Some members have a ball toy that drops a treat when the bunny pushes it around. You can also teach your bunny tricks using positive (food and clicker) reinforcement. Brown paper crumpled up can be fun for them to dig in.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

My rabbit will chase me around my room. She likes toilet/paper towel rolls. You can put hay in the rolls so it’s like a fun little treat toy. They love to dig so maybe some ripped up newspaper might be fun, or a box of dirt lol. You will have a messy bunny on your hands.
